Mary Jane Birdsong, AICI, CIP,  is acknowledged among the top visual communication specialist in the country. She holds a degree in psychology, a certification in speech pathology from the American Speech & Hearing Association and has extensive training in the performing arts. Ms. Birdsong has 35 years of experience working with health organizations and corporations around the United States.

Mary Jane Birdsong’s 35-year career has many highlights:

• Associate professor Old Dominion Department of Speech
• Conduced training for student therapists and conduced therapy with patients in clinical setting. Maintained private practice for local physicians’ patients.
• Trained by the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Rancho Los amigo Medical Center, Downey, CA., to perform appearance enhancement therapy on facial disfigured patients.
• Conducts results-based seminars for corporations, hospitals and medical practices. Provides personalized coaching for individuals in business, medical, and the entertainment industry. Designs standards of dress and professional behavior.
• Became audio/video talent and trainer for actors at Talent Management of Virginia, Va.
• Combined her skills into a highly successful speaker/trainer business. Her subjects: appearance, body language and business etiquette.
• Received training in wardrobe merchandising. As developer and president of the Color Chart Fabric Company, Virginia Beach, VA., she selected fabrics, and designed garments in multiple colors for production. These garments were for wholesale/retail nation wide.
